In this package, you will receive:

• 15 minute virtual consultation

• Three virtual 1:1 sessions, 30 minutes each

• Learning plan tailored to your child’s specific needs

Here’s how this will work:

Unlocking a child’s confidence begins with developing a strong reader. In our Confidence Builder sessions, you will work with an Active Reader instructor to learn the tools you need to teach your child reading and writing basics. Over the course of six weeks through three 1:1 sessions, we will help you to put a tailored learning plan into action. Our Confidence Builder sessions allow our instructors to be with you every step along the way as you watch your child’s skills grow. 

We know how to make learning to read fun and with our tools and strategies you will be able to play an active role in your child’s success while developing their love of learning and reading.

The Consultation

In our 15 minute phone consultation we will gather all of the background information on your child and home life. From there, our instructors will create a tailored learning plan around your unique situation in preparation for our first 1:1 session.

The 1:1 Confidence Builder Sessions

The 1:1 Confidence Builder Sessions are tailored to you and your child so you can teach them the basics of reading and writing through scientifically proven methods that are fun, simple and engaging.   

Each of your sessions will build on the next, taking learnings, observations, wins and struggles to inspire the tailored learning plan. It is our goal to watch your child thrive and grow as a reader so you see real results that will be felt at home and seen by your child’s teacher in the classroom.

Through the course of our Confidence Builder Sessions, we will do the following:

• We will explain to you how a child best learns to read and write. 

• Explore our Early Reader Pack and how you can use this effectively.

• Receive a learning plan made for you by your instructor to put into action in your home.

• Help you build confidence to play an active role in your child’s success.

• Share with you the basic scientific concepts that simplify the learning to read process. 

• Show you how you can build learning into your day on the fly.

• Explore your learnings, observations, wins and struggles following the previous session and adjust our strategy to suit these learnings. 

• Focus on specific learning areas such as: reading, writing, speech, or spelling.

• Review how far your child has come along and send you off with suggestions on how to continue. 

Anyone can do this, our 1:1 sessions guide you through the process on how to read so you will see real progress in your child. 

Following your session, watch your child’s literacy skills transform before your eyes and see their confidence grow. 

Purchase your Confidence Builder, you will receive an email with a link to book your consultation. After the consultation, we will book your first virtual 1:1 session. Each session will be scheduled following the next.
